Cob Day

Making earth walls using a shuttering technique
Making earth walls using a shuttering technique

A of theory and practical work looking at techniques of building with earth, from clay to chalk, from ramming to making blocks.

This day course can be booked individually, or as part of our 'Sustainable Building Course' to follow Straw and Lime Days.

Includes cob repairs and maintenance. Essential information for anyone living in or thinking about buying a cob house or cottage. Participants are welcome to bring photographs or cob samples of buildings they are working on to get specific advice.

 

Cob day cost

£95.00

(or £320 for four days; two days Straw Bale Building, one Lime Day and one Cob Day).
